A half-day charter, typically four to five hours, is a good fit if you want a taste of offshore fishing without dedicating a full vacation day, and it's usually enough time to work the inshore and near-offshore grounds for roosterfish, snapper, and smaller game fish. Full-day trips run about eight hours and give you the range to chase sailfish, marlin, and dorado further offshore.
